Central Museum of the Armed Forces

The Central Museum of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation is one of the largest military history museums in the world, the flagship of the military museum business of the Russian Ministry of Defense. It was founded by Order of the Revolutionary Military Council of the Republic No. 2207 dated December 23, 1919.

Currently, the museum's collection is diverse and unique, totaling more than 840,000 items (without branches) and representing the history of the Fatherland Army from the creation of its first regular units to the present.
